![]() ![]() I still paid double for a room with 2 double (not queen which is what I originally booked) beds somewhere else. After a series of back and forth between me and Chase, Chase finally refunded me. CAMILLE STRAIGHT LIED AND TOLD THEM I HAD CHECKED-IN AND THEY HAVE RELOCATED ME. After checking in at a neighboring hotel (by this point it was already past midnight) I called Chase and they called Indigo to confirm what happened. I was so fed up, I booked another hotel nearby and of course at this point, ALL HOTELS ARE WAY MORE EXPENSIVE BECAUSE IT IS A LAST MINUTE BOOKING. She told me to have my credit card company or wherever I booked to call her and she will verify that they're out of rooms. She ended up hand writing me a short sentence on a piece of sticky note. She CAN'T EVEN PRINT ME PAPER SAYING I WAS DENIED CHECK-IN. Well she couldn't even figure out my situation. She said she can but I would have to wait because 12 other people are going to try to check-in and she has to figure out their situation. That's just unacceptable, I requested she print me paperwork stating I've been denied check-in and let me go on my way. The first hotel only has 2 TWIN beds and the 2nd hotel has 1 queen. ![]() She came up with 2 hotels both in Manhattan, not even in the same area. She said I wasn't charged (that's not what my credit card said) and that she would attempt to call other sister hotels for me to get a room. I showed her, she said she would call the manager. I pulled up their very own IGH website, SAID THEY STILL HAVE ROOMS AVAILABLE. Camille, the front desk, said I did everything right, but Expedia is overselling rooms they don't have. I made sure that didn't happen by calling in advance. ![]() I read here that some people were denied check-in because they oversold and would send people away. I called them 3 days earlier to make sure they were open and we actually have rooms and the gentleman on the phone said yes and the rooms are really nice and clean. Allegedly there are also 12 more people coming in that night without rooms. At 10:30pm 10/30 we tried to check-in for 4 people, they told me Expedia has overbooked them and they have 0 rooms. I've never been so livid at a hotel before. ![]()
